The creativity among us

Curriculum Pre Primary

At this stage the child enters a new environment. Here she/he gets introduced to the outside world, learns sharing, discipline and many other things along with academics. This transition has be smooth so that the child develops a liking for new learning. We have therefore designed our program in such a way that the child develops curiosity, is happy and eager to learn.

Curriculum Primary Section

The goal of the primary curriculum is to lay a strong educational foundation.  it is broadly based and takes into account the fact that each one enters the formal education with different level of grasping.  The curriculum is planned to develop respect and love for learning while giving them the strong basic skills, which they will need to continue in their education.  Through projects and learning by hand, hear and head, students will explore all aspects of their personality.

Co-curriculum

  • Physical Education and Sports is a very important aspect for all round growth of the student. Sports education develops and helps maintain the physical stamina right from childhood. The liking for fitness starts at this age. Sports develop the habits of adhering to rules, obedience, discipline, determination to win, will power etc. At APS significant importance is laid on development of sports. We have various age appropriate games and events. Expert sports coaches are appointed to guide the student for indoor and outdoor games, along with a full time PE teacher.
  • Dance – Dance has always had a significant place in the Indian culture. There are various dance forms. Dancing is a powerful mode of expression, collaborator for developing many attributes of a growing child. Dance helps physically, emotionally, socially and cognitively. Regular dance sessions are conducted by qualified teachers.
  • Music – Music plays an important role as part of performing art and also helps soothing the mind. The benefits of music are scientifically proven to the world. Learning to play various instruments is also an enjoyable activity for the students. Our music teachers have designed age appropriate syllabus to enjoy this pleasure.
